Brajendranath Choudury was born in Pabna (West-Central Bangladesh) in 1941. In 1964 he moved to Wales to study Engineering. After completing his degree, he moved to Birmingham where worked in the engineering field for over 10 years. In the eighties, he started working as a community teacher in Tower Hamlets and continued work across various fields until his retirement. He started writing poetry in his 20s. Unfortunately, most of his earlier work has been lost. He started publishing his work in 2014.
